Use search to find actions and projects.

To search Actions: go to the Dashboard and press menu, then select "Search". Or you can use the search button on your phone and search for Actions even when you are outside of the app. |

Why does the action form take me to the note tab every time I add or edit an Action?
| You are in “Guided Tour” mode which uses the note tab to display tutorial messages. When you are ready to start adding your own actions, switch to “My Real Database”. To do so, go to the Dashboard, press Menu and select Change database, then choose “My Real Database”. To see a sample database, select the “Demo Database”, use it to browse some real life examples of actions and projects and to try new things without altering your primary database (“My Real Database”). |
How to view all Actions which are not attached to any project?
| Select the Refocus wizard from the Dashboard, go through the steps and deactivate all projects in Step 3. You will end up with a to-do list consisting of only those Actions which have no project associated. |
How to use links in Action notes.
| You can paste internet links in the note text of an Action (for example from the phone’s browser: longclick on a link and choose “Copy URL”, then longpress the text are in the note tab and choose paste). Once you have them in the note, you can make them clickable by going to Menu -> More -> check “Links clickable” (save the Action first). This also works for Context descriptions and Project goals. |
